Course Programme

The programme is designed to help students make the most of their abilities by consolidating previous knowledge, improving exam technique and building confidence.

Attention is given to improving coursework, supporting and giving help with techniques of answering examination questions. Tuition and guided revision takes place individually or in small groups, providing a friendly, supportive, focused and highly effective atmosphere in which to revise.

GCSE MusicApplication Form

The Music GCSE course is suited to students who are continuing to study after Key Stage 3. Students may wish to take the complete GCSE course or consolidate existing work.

We provide a thorough understanding of the subject content for each part of the syllabus. Particular attention is given to helping students to develop the necessary exam skills, improve the quality of their coursework and to build confidence.

The tuition is intensive with a demanding workload and a high level of commitment is required. We will be happy to discuss individual requirements e.g. small group tuition / individual tuition.

AS and A2 Level MusicApplication Form

The Music A-level courses are suited to students who are continuing to study after GCSE or changing school after Year 11. Students may wish to take the complete A2 or AS course or consolidate prior learning and re sit particular modules.

Retake CoursesApplication Form

We provide a thorough review of the subject content for each module. Particular attention is given to helping students to develop the necessary exam skills and to building confidence. We support students in their preparation for re sit examinations. Many already have respectable grades and re sit in order to widen their choice of university or to re-apply to highly competitive degree courses.

Theory of MusicApplication Form

All Grades
Coaching and entering students for Theory of Music examinations. Essential for those intending to take the higher grades in performance for ABRSM. Useful for all GCSE and A Level students to support all aspects of their courses.
